Leonard's Captain Cold coat (and the other clothes he borrowed) is returned on his bed in pristine condition, all the contents of his pockets still there. Minus a few snacks. Oops. It's even tied up with a ribbon, and a little notecard that says "Thank you. :)"

He also gets this photo in his inbox]

I’ve been keeping an eye on conversations on Diana’s post. You’re one of the only reasonable people I see on it.

I get the feeling you have your own plans in mind. How far off am I?

Debatable. As responses go, her post was relatively underwhelming. Plenty of people seem borderline content to accept their circumstances. I don’t think you are one of them.

I’m looking into finding out more about the other territories and rulers in Hell. I’m sure we can come to mutually beneficial arrangement, if that might be information you’d be interested in having.

[It’s been months since he’s made anything vaguely shaped like a business deal, it feels more right than anything he’s done in this place— and there’s no certainty anything will even come of it.

But it will put him on Leonard’s radar, and that could prove useful at some point, Kaz thinks.]
